Test conditions of Oxygen Bomb For Aubber Ageing Test:

1. The materials which have different substantially compositions should not be tested simultaneously.

2. The sample should not contact the tank wall, and the samples should not contact each other.

3. The sample volume should be less than 1/10 of the tank’s effective volume.

4. Oxygen should be no less than 97% purity industrial oxygen, air should be no oil, non-moist (The air compressor is supplied by the user).

Oxygen Bomb Aging measures the resistance of the physical properties of a material to deterioration caused by oxidative and thermal aging. Accelerated aging is performed by enclosing materials in laboratory apparatus with oxygen and heating the vessels. Tensile testing, durometer, tear and other physical tests are performed before and after testing.

Feature:

The part is suspended freely in an oxygen bomb, the effective capacity of the bomb being at least 10 times the volume of the part. The bomb is filled with oxygen not less than 97 % pure, to a pressure of 2,1 MPa ± 0,07 MPa and maintained at a temperature of 70 °C ± 1 °C.
