Torque Resistance Strength Tester
Standard: IEC 60884-1 2013 clause 24.6, IEC 60598-1 clause 4.12.5
Application: This device is use for test the torque resistance strength of
screwed gland of lamps and similar appliances.
Test sample: Screwed gland of lamps and similar appliances.
Feature: Floor type support, lifting weights mechanism drive turntable to
achieve torque test.
Parameters:
- Cylindrical metal rod: Ф5, Ф7, Ф9, Ф10, Ф12, Ф14, Ф16, Ф18, Ф20,
Ф22, Ф25, Ф30, Ф32, Ф40mm, one each, 14 pc in all
- Weights: 20N, 40N, 50N, 60N weight with hook, one each; 10N, 20N
weight with hole, one each. Can meet the test requirements to most
screwed glands.
- Diameter of the disc: 250mm(500mm disc for option, with less
weights)

Standard clause:
Screwed glands are fitted with a cylindrical metal rod having a
diameter ,in millimetres,equal to the nearest whole number below
below the internal diameter ,in millimetres ,of the packing .
The glands are then tightened by means of a suitable spanner ,the
torque shown in table 22 being applied for 1 min .
